The Site at Skipton Road (approximately 7 hectares) on land adjacent to Skipton Road, Harrogate is being promoted for residential development.

Prior to submitting a planning application to Harrogate Borough Council, we are keen to hear your views on our draft proposals.

Where possible, we will take your comments into account in the proposals that will ultimately form part of a full planning application to Harrogate Borough Council.

Please remember, your comments do not constitute representations to Harrogate Borough Council. You will have a further opportunity to make representations to the Council once an application has been submitted.

Planning Context

A full planning application is currently being prepared on behalf of Bellway Homes. The application will seek planning permission for the erection of both high quality market and affordable dwellings, areas of open space and infrastructure normally associated with a new development including a new road network, drainage provision and landscaping provision.

The current draft masterplan for the site is detailed on the last presentation board.

Planning Application

We propose to submit a planning application to Harrogate Borough Council in late July which will include a Masterplan for the site, informed by this consultation exercise.
